For ported chainsaws cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours all ported chainsaw sales are final and production will proceed.

For Stihl equipment and all other products contact us immediately at support@shopoutdoorpower.com. We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests before your order ships. Once an order has shipped it cannot be cancelled.

We are based in Clay, NY but we are an online store only. We do not accept walk-in customers at our location. All orders must be placed through our website at shopoutdoorpower.com.

No — we do not offer financing or installment payments.

We ship to the continental United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or internationally.

No — gas-powered equipment cannot be shipped to California due to CARB emissions regulations. If you attempt to order gas-powered equipment for delivery to California your order will be cancelled and fully refunded. Battery and electric-powered equipment can be shipped to California.

Most orders are processed within 2-3 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.

We offer standard ground shipping with an estimated delivery time of 3-7 business days after your order has been processed and shipped. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We ship via UPS and FedEx. Carrier selection is based on package size, weight, and destination.

Shipping costs are calculated based on package size, weight, and destination and are displayed at checkout before you complete your order. Heavy items such as ported chainsaws, backpack blowers, and pressure washers may incur higher shipping rates due to their size and weight.

Once your order ships you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and carrier information. You can use this number to track your order directly on the carrier's website.

If your order arrives damaged please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@shopoutdoorpower.com with photos of the damaged packaging and product. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Contact us at support@shopoutdoorpower.com within 48 hours. Outdoor Power cannot issue refunds for packages lost during shipment if proof of delivery is unavailable.

A ported chainsaw is a stock Stihl chainsaw that has been upgraded with a genuine RIPSAW Ported Cylinder Kit. This precision modification reshapes the engine's intake and exhaust ports to increase airflow, raise RPM, and deliver significantly more cutting power than a factory saw. Every ported chainsaw we sell is built by our team in Clay, NY using genuine RIPSAW components.

Every RIPSAW ported chainsaw includes:

• CNC Cylinder Machine Work — Squish cut and base cut to increase compression
• Complete CNC Porting — Resizing and reshaping of intake and exhaust ports for optimal airflow
• Polished Exhaust Port — Reduced carbon buildup
• Chamfered Port Windows & Cylinder Base — Enhanced durability
• RIPSAW Signature Series Tuned Ported Muffler — Maximum exhaust flow and power (where applicable by model)
• Decompression Delete (where applicable by model)

Ported chainsaws are high-performance professional tools that produce significantly more power than stock chainsaws. They are intended for professional use only and should only be operated by experienced users with proper chainsaw training and appropriate safety equipment including:

• Chainsaw-rated chaps or cut-resistant pants
• Chainsaw helmet with face shield and hearing protection
• Cut-resistant gloves
• Steel-toed boots

Ported chainsaws are intended for professional use only. They are designed for experienced operators including loggers, arborists, land clearing professionals, and competitive cutting enthusiasts who understand the demands and risks of high-performance chainsaw operation.

Yes — porting modifies the engine internals and voids the manufacturer warranty on the affected components. All ported chainsaws are sold without a manufacturer warranty. Please consider this carefully before purchasing.

All ported chainsaws include a 90-day limited warranty covering port work only. This warranty covers defects directly related to the port work performed and missed quality control issues. It does not cover damage caused by operation or misuse, improper handling, modifications made after delivery, or normal wear and tear. Customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways for warranty service.

Our ported chainsaws are available as a powerhead only or with a bar and chain included depending on your selected variant. Available bar lengths vary by model. All ported chainsaws are custom-built products and are not eligible for return or refund due to the nature of the build process. Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours all ported chainsaw sales are final. Please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy for full details.

RIPSAW is an authorized manufacturer of ported cylinder kits designed specifically for Stihl chainsaws. As an authorized RIPSAW dealer we install genuine RIPSAW cylinder kits — not imitations or aftermarket alternatives. RIPSAW kits are precision engineered for maximum performance and reliability.

Yes — Outdoor Power is an authorized Stihl dealer. All Stihl equipment we sell is genuine and comes with the manufacturer warranty where applicable.

Yes — all new Stihl equipment comes with Stihl's standard manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms vary by product. Please refer to the documentation included with your equipment or visit stihl.com for full warranty details.

As an authorized Stihl dealer we honor Stihl's 7-Day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee on select Stihl products. You have 7 consecutive days from the original purchase date to request a return or exchange on eligible products. Items must be brand new, unused, and in original packaging. For gas products fuel must never have been put in the tank even if drained.

The following Stihl products are not eligible for return:

• TS and TSA cut-off machines
• GS concrete cutters
• Pressure washers
• Stihl Zero-Turn Mowers
• Robotic lawn mowers
• SG and SGA sprayers
• RM and RMA push mowers

For accessories, chains, and parts we offer a 30-day return policy. Items must be brand new, unused, and in original packaging. Proof of purchase is required. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

To initiate a return contact us at support@shopoutdoorpower.com with your order number and reason for return. Returns must be authorized prior to shipment. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Please allow approximately 7-10 business days from the date we receive the product for your refund to be credited to your original payment method. Bank processing times may vary.
